Ryszard Kalisz, the solicitor
A graduate of Department of Law and Administration, Warsaw University. A visiting fellow of University of Zurich in 1985. In 1987 he completed an attorney apprenticeship and since that date he was practicing as a solicitor until 2007. Over that period he was running cases of the largest Polish, Austrian (EVVA) and German (MAN),organizations, mostly on commercial, trade and fiscal laws.
He has been gaining his expertise not only as a solicitor – in 1989 he participated in the “Roundtable” session (1989), and then, as a Deputy Chairman of the State Tribunal (1993-1995) he contributed to establishing of provisions enclosed in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of April 2, 1997. Afterwards he held the positions of: State Secretary in the Chancellery of the President (1998-2000), Member of the National Security Council (2000-2005), Minister of Interior and Administration (2004-2005), MP to the Seym of the IV, VI and VII terms (2001-2015), Chairman of the Legislative Committee, Chairman of the Penal Code Subcommittee, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Changes in the Seym Rules of Procedure, Chairman of the Polish-German Parliamentary Group, Chairman of the Justice and Human Rights Committee, Chairman of the Investigation Committee for Examining a Tragic Death of the Former MP Barbara Blida. In 2003-2004 he acted as an Observer to the European Parliament; an arbitrator in the Arbitration Court at the National Chamber of Commerce and Polish-German Industry and Trade Chamber (AHK).
He was honored with the Golden Cross of Merit, Great Cross of Merit with the Star of Merit of the German Federal Republic (Die Grosse Verdienstkreuz mit Stern), I Class Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy, Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis and The Bar to the Distinguished.
His area of expertise encompasses trade, constitutional, penal and civil law, including commercial issues, in particular. In private he is a husband and father to two sons.
Dominika Kalisz, the solicitor
A graduate of Department of Law and Administration, Jagiellonian University. She completed the School of French Law (2008). Throughout the university period she was an active member of the Library Association of Law Students (TBSP). A visiting fellow of L’Université d’Orléans (2008-2009). She is proficient in French and English. In 2006 she accomplished the French course at Université Paris-Sorbonne and received a state certificate of language proficiency. Her Ph.D. thesis, written under supervision of professor Wanda Stojanowska, Ph.D., was entitled „Settlements on parental authority in the judgment establishing of paternity in terms of theory and court practice”. She completed the attorney apprenticeship in the District Bar Association in Warsaw.
Her areas of expertise comprise civil law, including, in particular, family law as well as penal and administrative law. She holds relevant experience in criminal cases, with many years of court practice. She provides her Customers with convenient solutions and sense of the legal security.
Grzegorz Krawczyk, the solicitor
A Member of the Warsaw Law Society since 1996. He has been gaining experience in the Polish Foreign Investment Agency and PZU SA. He specializes in legal matters related to cooperative building societies, real estate law, housing law, civil and commercial law, in general. He participated in development and performance of infrastructural investment projects across Poland. His experience and know-how encompass representation of the Customers in courts and administration authorities, including the proceedings related to real estate legal regulations, in particular. He worked as an advisor over legislative processes carried out in the Seym of the Republic of Poland.
Adrian Zwoliński – the barrister trainee
A barrister trainee, a graduate of Department of Law and Administration, Warsaw University. His areas of expertise include commercial litigations, trade law and capital market as well as intellectual property. He has been gaining experience while working for various law firms and handling legal issues of the deputy’s office. In 2013 – 2015 he was a representative in the Advisory Council on Trade and Services, affiliated with the Minister of Economy, and a legal specialist in the National Association of Traders and Small-Scale Production. He acted as an expert in the Poland-Asia Study Center, specializing in the legal system of the Asian states and an expert of Business Center Club, in charge of trade law, intellectual property and the legal system of the Asian states.
He provides assistance to non-governmental entrepreneur organizations, collaborates pro bono on newsworthy cases. An author of legal releases that have been published in the national press, including Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and a panelist in numerous conferences and events handling legal issues, including intellectual property, in particular.
He is keen on Far East, with China in a center of his interest, and macroeconomics.
She completed her attorney apprenticeship in Warsaw in 2012. In 2015 she received a diploma from the Polish Federation of the Real Estate Market, while completing the Due-Diligence on Real Estate of the Enterprise course. He is a graduate of the Helena Chodkowska University of Management and Law, Warsaw (MA in law received in 2006). She finished her bachelor degree studies at Department of Management, Warsaw University (BA received in 2003). In 2008 she completed a 1-year course covering the German language with elements of the German law in the School of German Law, Jagiellonian University, Cracow.
She has undergone various traineeships in corporations and law firms, both in Poland and abroad. Her professional career started off back in 2003, when she was hired as a lawyer in Z.U.L.W. “PZL-Mielec” Sp. z o.o., dedicated to a direct cooperation with the Management Board, dealing with ongoing legal services related to core business of the company (drawing up and examining the documentation provided for negotiations with the National Health Fund and Social Security Office, legal opinions, contract verification, pleadings). Furthermore, since that date she has been acting as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In 2007 she worked in the Pharmaceutical Department of the Law Firm, Salans D. Oleszczuk Kancelaria Prawnicza Sp.k. with the headquarters based in Warsaw. From February 2008 to September 2015 she held the position of the legal specialist in Mennica Polska S.A., with the registered seat in Warsaw, also handling other subsidiaries of Mennica Polska S.A. Capital Group.
Her areas of expertise comprise commercial companies law, administrative and civil law running cases related to real estate trade, drafts and negotiations of contracts, penal and energy law. She speaks and writes excellent German and English.
Maja Żuczkowska – Office Manager
A law passionate. She has been gaining her experience while working as a court reporter in Warsaw courts and therefore is thoroughly familiar with this type of institutions.
A long-time collaborator of Ryszard Kalisz, the solicitor. She was heading his deputy’s office throughout his election campaign to the European Parliament. She has been actively involved in developing of structures of the Poland – House for Everyone Association. Currently, she holds the position of the Office Manager in the Ryszard Kalisz Law Firm
In her leisure she either goes jogging or travels extensively.
